One star too many

I suppose I could give this app one star for being able to download it, but that might be one star too many.

Based on the reviews on the current version of this app (v1.2.0 released October 2013), a couple things need to happen:

a) the app needs to work. Period. On iOS 8 the app simply doesnt connect at all.

b) the app needs the functionality of the iPad version, not a stripped down monitor-only version. No good.
