X32-Q App Reviews

Good app. could be improved.

Hoping this works for ios8 before we leave for tour in November. This app is pretty essential to our rig right now. My main issue with the app when it is working is that the faders are hyper sensitive. It is really hard to adjust on the fly because one small touch could pull the fader way further then you actually want to.

Needs a way to control mains!

Can control mains or channel gain. With the new larger screened iPhones I dont carry my iPad around most of the time but this app forces me to.. Needs some updating

Bug iOS 5.1

Loved the app before updating. Definitely like that the iPhone app does NOT allow access to the console master layer as the phones are used by musicians onstage and DEFINITELY dont want them to be able to "accidentally" begin remixing the house...lol Updated console firmware to v2.05 and had to update iPhone app. iPhone 4s running iOS5 (DO NOT WANT TO GET INTO THE "iOS upgrade loop"...my phone works FINE for everything else I use it for)... ...Anyway... Upgraded the app and everything was tres cool hunky dory all good... Next time I tried to use the app it worked fine until I rotated the phone into "landscape mode"to access the bus mix fader layer...and it quit immediately upon rotation. As I stated before ...the app worked fine for the 15mins I played with it after the update, so this should be a minor bug fix...but it is pretty much useless now. Id be willing to upgrade my iPhone to iOS6 but the only update offered now is 8 and I prefer the look and feel of my phone now. I firmly believe the app bug should be addressed because I have several musicians who feel the same way I do about "constant software upgrades" and the compatibility issues they lead to...besides...if you have 6 musicians onstage the odds are they are NOT all running the same iOS. A bug fix here for iOS 5.1 would be GREATLY appreciated as Im certain its something minor since it worked just fine initially...

Needs to be updated

This app is out of date.

Good for musicians on stage, but not sound tech on iPhone 6+

This app works well for individual musicians on stage who want to adjust their own monitor mix. It appears that is what its designed for, however with the new iPhone 6+, I no longer use my iPad much at all. Would be nice to be able to adjust settings for the rest of the board like the iPad functionality. Or just make the mix32 app avail for iPhone 6/6+.

Need an iPad

The iPhone app for the x32 only lets you adjust levels for the mix busses. Not for the main mix. This is HORRIBLE! I always have my iPhone on me not my iPad. This should be up to me to decided not Behringer.

None of the faders work

Connects just fine. But none of the faders control anything! iPad works great. iPhone version doesnt work at all.

Please update

Please update, nothing will work anymore

iPhone version basically useless

As pointed out by other reviewers, the iPhone version of the app only lets you adjust the mix busses, not the main mix, so in other words the iPhone version is basically completely useless. The iPad version is a really slick app, although sometimes you do have to press a button twice for it to really stick. Please fix the iPhone version, Behringer!

Made for monitor mixing!

This is for the people who are leaving bad reviews, but dont understand the concept here. Its called x32-Q because it is specifically for personal monitor mixing. The iPad version mixes everything. They dont want to give every stage musician with an iPhone the ability to screw up the house mix.

X Air XR18 support

So does this app work the XR18 or is it strictly for the X 32? We need a monitor mix app controller for the iPhone like Mackie has. You just bought Loud the company port it over already please.

Meters STILL DON’T WORK

Come on guys, it’s been nearly a year, and the meters still don’t work reliably. It’s half the app it used to be.

One star too many

I suppose I could give this app one star for being able to download it, but that might be one star too many. Based on the reviews on the current version of this app (v1.2.0 released October 2013), a couple things need to happen: a) the app needs to work. Period. On iOS 8 the app simply doesnt connect at all. b) the app needs the functionality of the iPad version, not a stripped down monitor-only version. No good.

Should be improved!

Would really like to be able to save settings. Maybe add a profiles feature? Id also like to bs able to control the overall EQ of my mix.

No meters

We use the Behringer x32 board at my church...and adjust monitors with the app. Its frustrating that when doing sound checks, you cant tell which channel is being tested because the meters will not light up!

Needs an update

Hasnt been updated since 2013. Cant change mixes sometimes. Cant see green meter lights.

Security

Interesting story. Last night I went to see a popular local band. They are using an XR18 mixer just like mine. They sounded great. Thats not unusual. The fun thing was that I pulled out my iPad in the parking lot and "hacked" into their mixer.

Almost never works

The iPad version is Much more reliable than this one. Out of the dozens of times Ive tried, its only connected twice. Please work out the bugs.

iPhone does not work!!

iPhones do not work as well as the iPad. Beheinger should make the iPhone app work as good as the iPad app.

Is there anyway to make this app just like the iPad app. This app does nothing.... Do not understand why they are different. Would just rather run from my Mac than use my phone. Terrible!!
